IT IS THE SAME THING.  BOTH ARE CORRECT.  THIS MAKES ME ANGRY ALL THE TIME.  I personally use theatre and used to believe that a theater is the actual physical building, while theatre is the artform.  College taught me this is not true and therefore this thespian peacock entry makes me mad…
